    • madmarvelgirl Posted on I totally agree about Jean. They were only stntirag to get at the potential of that character when she died. Both times. (Both times she stayed dead; not talking about other times).I can’t think that I’ve ever drifted away from a story immediately following a character death, but I know that lineups definitely have an affect on my interest in following stories. I say I’m an X-men’ fan, but there are a lot of classic’ stories I haven’t bothered with because they don’t have Scott or Jean in them.

  2. Thanks for visiting my site. I love yours!

  3. Thanks for following my Bananas and Prunes blog. I’m happy a young man such as yourself can find humor from a retired Nana’s rantings. Please keep up your good work. Your diligent research and devotion to political fairness is obvious.

  4. The most important thing that you are doing is getting involved. Exchange of ideas in the marketplace is the only way that conditions can improve. Best wishes for your continued success. I will enjoy sparring with you.

  21. Thank you for following my blog. I have looked at yours and find some very interesting comments. I think it safe to say that you and I share different viewpoints. My father said in October 1964 that: “Unless you honestly look at both sides of an issue, yo don’t have an opinion, you’re just a tape recorder.”

    • Totally agreed! One of the reasons I enjoyed your blog was your very different perspective on the Constitution from mine.

      • Dear Old Fossil. It is as you know and have experienced a tough old game. The free maekrt, smaller budgets etc opens the industry to non-card holders. This brings with it many good and bad things, one of the bad things you have listed. One of the good things is that certain great projects would never have been made if people had to work within the equity guide lines. Another point I would like to make is that you should not wait to be told your an actor, a card, training, showreel, merits etc should not define you as an actor ..you become an actor when you have respect for the craft, others and the fact its a tough industry. As for approaching Downtown Abbey etc, your agent or you could send your info to the casting director or you could send it directly to the production office. Either way it should get reviewed. Keep on thriving dear Old Fossil.

  22. Good solid posts. I read through several ones. Thanks for following my blog. I will look forward to reading more of yours. Well done.
